APPROVAL OF THE MAKING UPSTANDING STUDENTS OF IMPECCABLE CHARACTER GRANT PROPOSAL TO THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF SARASOTA COUNTY FOR IMAGINE SCHOOL OF NORTH PORT
Description
COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $5,000.00 will allow Imagine School at North Port to purchase various percussion instruments, team building manipulative's, curriculum materials and picture books. The materials will be used for lessons on music with embedded character education that will be reiterated school wide. An African Drum Ensemble will be created with 20+ students to perform.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Making Upstanding Students of Impeccable Character grant proposal.
